How do I get involved? Because we are called by God’s love in Jesus Christ, we have an abundance of opportunities for fellowship and community in God’s Spirit. See below for details. We invite you to come, experience the Beloved Community with us!

Below is a list of some of our regular fellowship opportunities.

5 Fs
“5 F” small groups meet monthly for Faith, Fellowship, Friendship, Food and Fun.  Groups generally are made up of 10 adults, meeting either at the church or at a church member’s home.  Please contact Pastor Rice or Dr. Carmel Tinnes if you would like to join one of these wonderful groups.

Fifth Sunday Fellowship

TGIF (This Group in Faith)
An adult fellowship group which meets on the 1st Friday evening of each month (October through June).
All are welcome!  We provide Christian fellowship through opportunities for fun, fellowship, relationship-building and spiritual growth.  Activities include things like a euchre tournament (an easy-to-learn and fun card game), a movie night, a bowling tournament, a potluck dinner and "white elephant" gift exchange, and much more.  Come and enjoy!

Garden Angels
This group meets to work in the church gardens starting in April and ending in October.  They maintain the flower beds and planters.  Everyone is invited.  Come for an hour, or come for several hours.  Call the church office for our gardening schedule.

Knitting
Knitters meet on Wednesdays in the church library from 4:30-6 pm for wonderful fellowship together.  Our church also provides yarn to make sweaters, hats, mittens, scarves, preemie hats, baby blankets, and lap robes.  The completed items for adults, children and infants are then contributed to a variety of mission organizations.  In 2010, the value of the garments made was $4,980.00!
