Our Mid-Highs Ministry is under the leadership of our LOFT (Living Our Faith Together) Ministry Team, our Youth Ministry advisors, and our Assistant Pastor Pam Meilands. Mid-highs Bible study and Christian education takes place at Sunday Morning Cool (Church school) at 10:30 and the mid-highs meet for bible study and fellowship from 7:00 to 8:00 on Wednesdays. Mid-highs also participate in family mission trips to local community service organizations throughout the church year and, together with our senior highs, lead worship on Youth Sunday in May.

The mid-highs also join with the senior highs for youth choir. These rehearsals are scheduled by the music staff on an “as needed” basis for the 3-4 weeks before each anthem is sung during worship.

In February and March, eighth graders meet for a series of confirmation classes after the mid high youth group meetings. Under the guidance of a Youth Ministry Advisor, eighth graders develop a Statement of Faith which they present to the Session when they are received into membership in the spring.
